Happened across their roadside stall in Mosgiel today and was intrigued by the Blackberry honey. Bought a $20 jar. My word, this honey is awesome. Not only does it smell like a bit like a bottle of Barkers, it really does taste like it off the spoon. Quite a refreshing sort of honey, gentle not strong or sharp. It’s the sort of honey you’d enjoy straight off the teaspoon or on some lovely fresh-but-cooled sourdough; I suspect the taste profile is more pronounced when cool.
